A little about my background: Raised in Rochester, Illinois. Hometown girl. Spent 30 years taking care of people as a Registered Nurse – many of those at my alma mater, St. John’s Hospital. Twelve of those 30 years were spent caring for the children, families and staff of Rochester School District.
When working with me, people can expect: That I will be honest. I will respect them and treat all parties fairly, including other brokers and affiliates associated with the transaction.
Not many people know this about me: I used to work for the Regional Organ Bank of Illinois. As a member of the eye team, I “harvested” eyes from deceased patients who had designated themselves to be organ donors.
My family includes: Married to Courtney and together we have a 4-year-old daughter Isabelle, a son Grayson, a golden retriever named Ralphie, and a cat named Tinkerbell.
The skills/personality traits that make me a great Realtor: I can’t say that any one trait makes a great Realtor, but in my experience, the passion that I bring to each transaction sets me apart from the rest. The end result should always be a newly formed friendship, or a strengthened bond for past clients, family and friends.
Don’t judge, but my guilty pleasure is: How It’s Made marathons on the Science Channel
My family includes: Kenneth, Stephen and Ella Franklin. Plus, a dog, cats, chickens, a mini horse and a donkey.

The skills/personality traits that make me a great Realtor: I am very detail-oriented and I love talking to and helping people make the best real estate decisions possible.
The best part of my job is: Seeing that look on a person’s face when they find the perfect home.
Not many people know this about me: I worked and lived in the Grand Canyon National Park for 2 years.
When I was a kid, my dream job was: Race car driver.
The skills/personality traits that make me a great Realtor: I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. My clients tell me that I’m personable and energetic (it’s easy to be excited when I love my job). Growing up on a farm, I was taught a good work ethic and that work always comes before play.
Awards I’ve received: RE/MAX 100% Club, Outstanding Service Award, Certified Crop Advisor License, Drone Pilots License, Pearson Master Teacher Award finalist, Amateur hot dog eating contest, “Best Husband Award” 20 years running. I’m sure my wife will back me up on this. Maybe?
My biggest pet peeve: Cheese pizza. What a waste. Put some meat on that. And wet socks. I’ve been known to shed a few tears over wet socks. Drives me insane. I’m convinced my kids leave puddles around the kitchen just to torment me.
My family includes: My high school sweetheart-turned-husband Cody, our cat Jester, and our dog Charley.
The best part of my job is: All of the different people I get to work with and talk to on a daily basis. My job never gets old.

A little about my background: I was born in St. Louis, but I’ve lived in Taylorville since I was 2 years old. Prior to entering into real estate, I served as a healthcare administrator. I’m also a Registered Nurse with experience in ER, trauma and orthopedics.
I decided to get into real estate because: I have always had a passion for houses; I’ve had a “bug” where I browse listings every day, knowing that we aren’t planning on moving anywhere. I just like to look at them, so why not pursue my passion?!
